The 2022-2025 Collective Agreement has now been finalized and printed copies are on the way. All of the new collective agreement language is in full force and effect, now that it has been ratified by both the SFU Board of Governors and the TSSU Membership. Some final issues related to Mentors in the Faculty of Education remain before an arbitrator for decision which is why some is redacted.

If you have a TSSU appointment, a printed Collective Agreement should be provided to you by your department once they are available.

The scope of TSSU's bargaining unit, in other words who is included in the Union, has a foundation in TSSU's Certification as most recently issued on January 23, 2024 by the BC Labour Relations Board. In addition, TSSU and SFU have a November 15, 2019 Voluntary Recognition Agreement outlining the recognition of TSSU as the bargaining agent for Research Assistants and Grant Employees.
